WHAT IS HTTPPASSWORD ?

httpPassword is a plugin for the open-source web publishing software called Dotclear.

Its helps to manage .httppassword files to make a blog private.

REQUIREMENTS

httpPassword requires:

  • httpPassword permission to configure
  • Dotclear 2.24
  • Write permissions on blogs directories
  • A web server that support .htpassword files. (Apache)

USAGE

First install httpPassword, manualy from a zip package or from Dotaddict repository. (See Dotclear's documentation to know how do this)
